Overseas applications for IRC or SBR
If your boat & racing is based outside GBR and you wish to apply for an IRC or SBR rating, please contact your local representative as listed below. They will help you with the application and we will return the certificate to them to forward to you. They will also arrange payment of the application fee.
UNCL: IRC - Yachts in France, and other countries administered by our sister office at UNCL in Paris, should contact UNCL or their local IRC Rule Authority (see end of list below). SBR : Yachts in countries normally serviced by UNCL in Paris for IRC ratings (see above) should contact the RORC Rating Office direct.
If there is no representative listed for your area then you may send us the application direct, together with the appropriate fee.
Please note that if we receive an application from any of the following areas, direct from the owner, we will advise the relevant area representative and there may be delays in issuing the rating certificate.
