The event will be run over four days in Falmouth Bay and will coincide with Falmouth Week which is run by the Port of Falmouth Sailing Association. That week the P.O.F.S.A. will be hosting the Pendennis Cup for the very large J Class classic yacht and the two championships will complement each other and Falmouth Regatta Week.

The Royal Cornwall Yacht Club will make the Club a centre for the IRC fleet.
