To apply for an SBR rating you need to complete the application form. However, before you do so, please read the notes that follow:
If the yacht is based outside GBR, you need to apply through your local rating authority: please read this.

If you have a Recognised One Design (currently only the Hunter 707, Melges 24 & Cork 1720) which complies fully with the relevant one design Class Rules, YOU DO NOT NEED TO APPLY FOR A CERTIFICATE. RODs have a standard TCS issued each year which clubs may use.
When completing the form
Write clearly in BLOCK CAPITALS
State all measurements in metres and kilogrammes
Complete as much detail as you can. Missing information may cause a delay in processing your certificate.
