Poolside 28/3/02

Well the sun is shining, there's a fair breeze, and a large number of you are getting ready for racing over the Easter weekend! As usual at this time of year, we have been inundated with requests for last minute ratings, we always do our best to ensure certificates are issued in time so no-one is disappointed. The Rating Office will be closed Friday-Monday, and for once none of us are going sailing! We wish you all a fun and successful weekend.

Are you racing at Ford Cork Week in July? In amongst planning your accommodation and social programme, dont forget that if you are racing in IRC you will need an Endorsed certificate. This is explained in the IRC yearbook and here on our website (IRC section). Please apply early as we are likely to require some measurements to be taken before we can Endorse the certificate.

For Swan owners, the 2002 Nautor's Swan Rule and application form have just been published, see the NSR section on this site.  Boats will need an NSR certificate for the Nautor's Swan Cup in Porto Cervo in September.
